C23: Optimizing Operations Using Advancements in Transfer Efficiency and Low Cure Powders

Technology in Powder
How advances in technology have increased the first past transfer efficiency of powder coating applicators. Innovations to reduce Faraday cage effect, higher FPTE, and general powder coating application appearance will be reviewed. We will look at a case study to help determine when the right time is to retrofit existing automatic powder booths to replace the applicators with new technologies and increase efficiency.

Accelerating Towards a Net Zero Carbon Future: The Role of Low-Bake Powder Coatings Technology in Sustainable Manufacturing
Manufacturing and production facilities are increasingly focused on achieving more with less, driven by the dual imperatives of improving margins and profitability while also committing to sustainability. This shift is a response to the impact of product materials and processes on energy consumption, the environment, and the challenges of rising energy prices and future supply. In this context, the adoption of specially engineered 'low bake' powder coatings technology presents a compelling opportunity to not only accelerate production but also directly support a company's journey towards a net zero carbon future. This presentation will explore how this innovative technology aligns with the evolving motivations in manufacturing, offering insights into its potential to drive sustainable practices and contribute to the dual mission of profitability and environmental responsibility.
