C53: An Interactive Exploration of Infrared Curing for Finishing Applications
This session will review the basics of infrared heating (IR), including what it is, how it is produced, and its characteristics. It will include all equipment sources of infrared followed by a discussion of the wide variety of IR applications, which showcase the many ways in which IR can be utilized in today's industrial environment. In addition, this session will include a hands-on interactive demonstration of certain infrared heaters.

EPRI
Scott Bishop is a Sr. Technical Executive at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). He has over 25 years of experience in the utility industry, primarily focusing on end-use customer technologies and solutions. Over the last several years he has worked directly with a variety of industrial manufacturing customers on improving energy efficiency, understanding process heating technologies and their implementation as an electrification and decarbonization solution.
