New breakthroughs in powder coatings are coming fast, including new formulations made without chemicals of concern, including PFAS compounds, and new generations of primers that offer higher transfer efficiency, easier application and better edge coverage than standard zinc rich primers, without sacrificing corrosion performance.

Speakers
Sarah Mueller
PPG
Sarah leads the powder technical laboratories that support PPG’s powder production and customers in the U.S. and Canada. She has held a number of roles since joining PPG in 2010, including the technical manager for coil and building products color services lead. Sarah earned a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh and MBA from Chatham University.
Paul Bradley
PPG Industries
Paul Bradley is a product development manager, for Industrial Coatings, PPG. Paul joined the company in 2013 after working as a chemist for several companies. Paul is responsible for customer facing product development for the extrusion and general finishing segments, but also helps to guide the strategic technical direction of PPG’s powder business. He is heavily involved in the company’s research and development efforts and has been granted patents for several coating innovations. A chemist at heart since the age of 5, Paul earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, graduating first in his class. He is based in Gainesville, Texas.
