This interactive, intermediate-level presentation will provide troubleshooting strategy and insights for all who paint and pretreat parts. Presenters from the cleaning, pretreatment, and paint technology segments will provide real world examples of defects and the strategies to identify and correct them. Attendees will be able to examine defects, interact with the presenters, and raise questions about their individual production challenges.

Cleaning and Metal Pretreatment troubleshooter for the past 25 years, Dave is uniquely qualified to provide this presentation on how to address problems in your metal preparation process. Dave has been presenting to Fabtech audiences for more than 15 years, being an active promoter of education to CCAI members and FABTECH attendees. Dave has been leading R&D for DuBois surface finishing for the past 17 years.

Sherwin Williams
Jerimy Erickson is the Global Product Director at Sherwin Williams; he has responsibility for the General Industrial Product Portfolio and Innovation at Sherwin Williams in all regions of the globe. Jerimy joined the company in 1997, as a chemist in the Industrial Wood Group in Minneapolis. Over the last 27 years Jerimy has held a variety of positions including, Chemist, Group Leader, Technical Manager, Account Manager, Strategic Account Manager, Global Account Manager, Marketing Director and Global Product Director. Jerimy holds a bachelor’s in chemistry from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at UNC – Chapel Hill.
