Troubleshooting Common Issues for Precision Laser Welding
Laser welding is a pivotal manufacturing process that is employed in many industries. There are many issues that can occur from the welding process and cause poor quality welds. Troubleshooting these issues is crucial to ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and quality in manufacturing. Effective troubleshooting strategies encompass understanding material interactions, optimizing laser parameters, and addressing issues related to joint design and preparation. This presentation will identify several common issues and provide insight into their resolution.

Pulsed Lasers for Material Processing: An Alternative to Replace Current Technologies for Industrial Applications
Nowadays, lasers have become an elemental machinery in several industries, from the aerospace to medical and automotive industries, among others, and are extensively used for all kind of applications worldwide, changing the way in which this technology has been used in the industry. Among the several lasers technologies available in the industry, laser material processing with pulsed lasers is one of utter importance and it is a topic that has been widely investigated and greatly improved over the last decades. Different applications can be done using pulsed lasers, from marking and engraving to dissimilar metal welding and even glass welding. In this presentation, we will cover the basics of laser material processing using pulsed lasers as well as the different applications that may be possible to implement in different industries to replace current technologies.
