MIE Solutions
David Ferguson, Jr. has assisted hundreds of manufacturing companies over the past 30 years, helping and guiding them to be more efficient and cost-effective with the help of technologies like ERP and MRP software. Dave’s journey into the world of manufacturing software began in his teens when he created a computerized quoting and job costing software to assist his father, who managed a sheet metal shop in Southern California. Within a few years of that, he partnered with METALSOFT, Inc. to sell and support this software, which was designed for small- to medium-size sheet metal fabricators. David Ferguson has his Masters in Computer Science and Mathematics from California State University, Long Beach. In 2007, he founded MIE Solutions to continue helping manufacturers and job shops become more efficient and profitable with the use of MRP/ERP software, specifically, the MIE Trak software. Today, David and the teams at MIE Solutions and Mirador Software Group continue to develop and manage MIE Trak Pro ERP software, supporting hundreds of companies world-wide.
