FABTECH Honored with Official Proclamation for FABTECH Week
FABTECH, established in 1981, has evolved into North America’s largest event for metal forming, fabricating, welding, and finishing. The 2024 conference in Orange County, Florida, spans over 800,000 square feet of exhibits and is expected to generate $89 million in economic impact. With 35,000 attendees from around the world, FABTECH offers education sessions, workshops, and technology pavilions focused on advanced manufacturing, workforce development, and management. The event also fosters networking and commerce in a welcoming environment. Recognizing its economic and industry significance, Mayor Jerry L. Demings has proclaimed October 15-17, 2024, as FABTECH days in Orange County.

Hurricane Milton Update

Our hearts go out to all those affected by Hurricane Milton. We offer our support to residents, communities, and businesses as they begin the process of recovery and rebuilding. Despite the recent challenges of Hurricane Milton, Orlando is back open for business and FABTECH will proceed as planned from October 15-17 at the Orange County Convention Center. The city, venue, airport, and hospitality community are fully operational and excited to welcome everyone to this important industry event.
The safety and well-being of our attendees, exhibitors, and staff remain are our top priorities. We understand that the weather may have caused some uncertainty, but we’re committed to providing a safe and productive event experience. Our team has been working diligently to ensure that all aspects of FABTECH are prepared and ready to meet your expectations.
Here are a few key updates:
- Event Schedule: All exhibits, conference sessions, and activities will take place as originally scheduled.
- Venue: The Orange County Convention Center is fully operational and open as of October 11.
- Travel and Accommodations: Orlando International Airport has resumed full operations as of October 11. All local hotels are fully functional and ready to welcome you. Check with your airline for any updates.
- Restaurants and Attractions: All businesses, entertainment venues, theme parks, and attractions resumed normal operations as of October 11.
