More than 1,700 exhibitors to showcase new technologies, live demonstrations, and solutions shaping manufacturing’s future
CHICAGO (Sept. 2, 2025) — FABTECH 2025, North America’s premier event for metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing, is set to open with its largest exhibit floor in event history from Sept. 8–11 at McCormick Place in Chicago. Spanning more than 850,000 net square feet, the event will showcase 1,700+ suppliers and is expected to attract 45,000 professionals seeking the latest technologies to boost productivity, strengthen supply chains, and address workforce challenges.
“This isn’t just the largest FABTECH; it’s the most essential,” said Tracy Garcia, CEM, FABTECH Group Director at SME. “The record-breaking size of our show floor reflects the industry's incredible drive for innovation—from automation that enhances workforce productivity to the smart technologies that are powering next-generation supply chains. We’ve built a powerful event where attendees can find the tools and partners they need to take decisive action and drive their business forward.”
The show floor is organized into seven technology-focused pavilions: Automation, Welding, Finishing, Forming & Fabricating, Stamping and Press Automation, Tube & Pipe, and the new Job Shop Pavilion. These zones offer attendees direct access to the latest technology, live equipment demonstrations, and solutions tailored to their needs.
