In our last blog, Luminaries from NASCAR, the NFL, the NBA, and the Manufacturing Hall of Fame Make the FABTECH 2025 Keynote Lineup Our Best Ever , we laid out the incredible keynote lineup attendees will experience at FABTECH 2025. We only had space to cover NASCAR and NFL greats, Andy Papathanassiou and Emmitt Smith. In this blog, we detail the remainder of the keynotes. Again, these are sessions you don’t want to miss.

On Wednesday, September 10, at 8.30 am, you will hear from one of the best performance coaches in the business. Alan Stein Jr. has coached NBA greats like Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and Kobe Bryant. He will break down the leadership habits and mental performance strategies used by elite athletes and high-performing organizations. This includes practical methods any fabrication or manufacturing firm can utilize to enhance leadership, strengthen team culture, and create an environment where employees perform at their best.

He will tell the story of how his life was changed by watching Kobe Bryant’s workout. As the dominant player of his era, Kobe trained every day at 4 am. That was preceded by a lengthy warm up. He asked Kobe why he kept such a rigorous schedule and focused on basic moves taught to high schoolers everywhere. “Why do you think I'm the best player in the world?” said Kobe. “Because I never get bored with the basics.”

That’s why Stein says the first step to improving performance in any area of your life is to understand that the basics work, but it's also having the humility to acknowledge that implementing the basics every single day is never, ever easy.

“Get crystal clear on the fundamentals that you need to work towards mastery of your profession,” said Stein.

The keynote, Raise Your Game: How to Improve Your Leadership Performance, Impact and Influence, will be on Wednesday, September 10 at 8.30 am.

The next day, Harry Moser’s keynote delves into How OEMs and Job Shops Can Benefit from Reshoring. As the founder of the Reshoring Initiative, he helped bring so many manufacturing jobs back to the U.S. that he has been inducted into the Manufacturing Hall of Fame. He also serves on the board of the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council.

During his keynote on Thursday, September 11 at 10:00am, Harry will share national survey findings and practical strategies to help manufacturers and job shops capitalize on shorter, domestic supply chains. He will touch on areas such as how to justify the initial costs that automation entails, how to better align the workforce to maximize productivity, and more.
