FABTECH has officially renamed its METALFORM Pavilion to the Stamping, Tool & Die, and Press Automation Pavilion to better reflect the diverse range of products and services featured and on display at the event.
With this name change, the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA), which manages the pavilion, aims to provide clarity to PMA’s role within FABTECH as well as the key technologies featured in the pavilion.
“PMA felt that a rebrand of the METALFORM pavilion, to the Stamping, Tool & Die and Press Automation Pavilion, was necessary,” said Doug Trout, PMA exhibition manager.
Trout added that, “PMA is a full-service trade association, and we represent companies performing the entire range of processes you will find at FABTECH. However, our management responsibility within FABTECH focuses specifically on stamping, tool and die, press automation, and related products. We look forward to hosting nearly 1,500 leading-edge exhibitors and tens of thousands of visitors at the show this year.”
FABTECH, North America’s largest metal forming, fabricating, welding, and finishing event, will take place twice in 2025: May 6-8 in Monterrey, Mexico, and September 8-11 in Chicago, IL. The Chicago event will showcase nearly 1,500 exhibitors and attract tens of thousands of industry professionals from around the world.
